What is a Doctoral dissertation?
Answer:
A dissertation is a substantial and significant, five (5)-chapter book, Students are required to write in order to complete a Doctoral degree. There are no page minimums or maximums.

Students need to develop an original topic from a problem they find in their work, home, or community, with a focus on leadership.

Chapter Breakdown:

Chapter 1 – Introduction, problem/purpose statement, background on topic

Chapter 2 – Literature Review – history of literature written on topic

Chapter 3 – Methodology – quantitative, qualitative, mixed

Chapter 4 – Results

Chapter 5 – Conclusions, impact/contribution of dissertation
