Writing Lab Accommodation
Question:
How does a student access the writing lab as part of their accommodation?
Answer:
In order to use the writing lab accommodation, it must be listed on the student's accommodation agreement. If a student needs the writing lab accommodation, contact Disability Services Office at 602-557-1157
Writing Lab Accommodation: Tutor review of six double-spaced pages of text for course-assigned essays/papers. The student will need to 1) Prepare an e-mail addressed to writinglab@phoenix.edu
2) State "Extended Review Requested" in the subject line of the e-mail
3) Attach your course-assigned essay/paper as a Word document, no zipped files
4) Send the e-mail
You should receive the review document(s) within 48 hours of submission (when submitted during the weekday).
