Blackboard (BB) Collaborate audio icon displays a dialed in icon and will not go away after restarting the session. When dialing into the session manually it states that you are already in the session.  

This is caused by the student or faculty member being Dialed In into the BB Collaborate session on their phone or computer. 

Check your phone to see if you are still connected to the BB Collaborate session and disconnect the active phone call with Collaborate. Restarting their phone or computer might be necessary depending on what device it is dialed into. 

Note: Furthermore it appears that if all users leave the session and the Faculty initiates the session again they can leave the Dial in Mode.
