Connect Student View of Grading Report

Question:
How do I as a student view my score or grades in McGraw Hill Connect?
Answer:
Note: Some classes will be setup to automatically transfer the scores from McGraw Hill Connect to the Blackboard (BB) gradebook. If this does not happen it will require the faculty to transfer the scores manually. Since faculty may not transfer scores until the week is complete, it is important to confirm you have a score in McGraw Hill Connect to prevent any penalties for late work.

Once you complete an assignment within McGraw Hill Connect you can view your score or grade by performing the following from your BB course page:
  1. Click View course and institution tools under Books and Tools from the Course Content page
Note:  do not use assignment title under the weeks since this will bring you directly into the assignment
  2. Click Connect is a highly reliable easy to use text to expand the options available
  3. Click Connect link
  4. Click Go to my Connect section
  5. Expand your week to view all assignments for that week. E.g. Week 1
  6. View the desired assignment that you completed
  7. Click See Report (only if the assignment is complete will you see this option)
  8. Click the assignment title to expand the report to show attempts and scores
Notes:
  • You may need to expand the assignment title within the report if you have multiple attempts. Also, on multiple attempts for an assignment the score next to the title is an average of all attempts. Generally, instructors will provide highest attempt score but grading is the discretion of the instructor
  • Allow at least 24 hours to elapse for the McGraw-Hill Connect Assignment or Activity grade to transfer to the Blackboard Gradebook
  • Points displayed in the Connect Gradebook round down, therefore, if an Assignment awards less than 1 point, it will display 0s for all of the grades
  • View Attempt option will not be available within the Gradebook for readings as there is nothing to view due to them only being readings; disregard submission times for reading Assignments
  • Any late Assignment submitted in Connect will not transfer the grade into Blackboard; if the Assignment is submitted late and zero (0) points are awarded automatically, the instructor will need to transfer the grade manually
