How do I access Blackboard on a mobile device?
Answer:
The Blackboard Ultra interface provides a unique classroom experience for users; it has been designed to work with Macs, PCs, tablets, and mobile devices which lets you access the classroom whenever and wherever you are.
Mobile Browser Blackboard Access - Preferred

Blackboard has a responsive design, meaning you will receive a great experience across all your devices with an environment that adjusts to fit any screen. Whether at your desk or on the go, Blackboard creates an experience that looks and feels the same no matter where you log in to access your course.

To access your Blackboard class from your mobile device's Internet browser, please perform the following:
  1. Open an Internet window
  2. Type https://vle.phoenix.edu within the address bar of the browser
  3. Enter your Student and Faculty Portal login credentials
    Note: You should be brought to the Courses page within Blackboard.
  4. Access the desired course
Mobile Application Blackboard Access

You can access Assignments, check Grades, and view Course Content using the Blackboard mobile app that is available for Android and iPhone, however, there are limitations to what can be accessed through the application (e.g. Messages, Calendar).
