Required to Post First to See Discussion Responses in Blackboard
Symptom:
When viewing a discussion in Blackboard, I don't see the responses from my instructor or classmates. Instead, I see a message:

Post a response to see discussion activity
Discussion activity is currently hidden to you. Others’ responses and replies appear when you post a response.
Cause:
This is caused by a setting that the instructor has set only allowing you to see posts after a student posts a response.
Resolution:
Making a post will allow you to see the responses to the discussion.
