AMT Time Logs Export Hours Allocation is Incorrect
Symptom:
When I attempt to use the Export feature in AMT Time Logs, the Microsoft Office Excel workbook does not have the correct hours allocated. For example, one category contains all my hours instead of different categories each having hours.
Cause:
The cause of this is the selection in creation of the Time Logs entry. The selection is from a different or incorrect category, when the menu shows multiple categories to choose in the Time Logs entry.
Resolution:
To resolve this issue, confirm in the Activity Details tab, that the drop-down list for the Activity type has the correct activity or category selected. If all entries are created using the one selection at the top of the list, scroll down to see additional categories to allocate hours.
Additional Information:
Notes:
  • The exported workbook is submitted each week in the course via Assignment Files to show the allocated hours
  • If the exported Microsoft Excel workbook has incorrect allocation, manually editing the spreadsheet is NOT recommended.
  • Correcting the entry to reflect the correct categories will fix the hours allocation in the workbook for all weeks.
  • If an approved entry is edited or updated, it would require approval again.
Within the Activity drop-down, the activity type or Categories are bolded.
  • Categories for the BSHS Time Log Template are: BSHS/415 or BSHS/475
  • Categories for the MSC Practicum Template are: Direct or Indirect
  • Categories for the MSC Internship A/B/C Templates are: Direct or Indirect
  • Categories for the MSC/SC Practicum Template are: Responsive Service, Guidance Curriculum, Individual Student Planning, or System Support
  • Categories for the MSC/SC Internship A/B/C Templates are: Responsive Service, Guidance Curriculum, Individual Student Planning, or System Support
