Click the Resources folder Note: Pop-ups will need to be enabled within the browser for the Bongo site and other resources to load outside of the Blackboard Course Content page.
Locate the Plus (+) icon in the lower-right of the page
Click the Video icon
Select one of the following in the Add Video prompt: Note: It is recommended to record within Bongo to get the most out of the tool.
Record Video
Depending on the Assignment, you have the option to record yourself, your Desktop, or both. At this time, Desktop share is not available on mobile. Additionally, you will not be able to synchronize visual aids to the video after recording.
Please check one or both of the following boxes:
Webcam
Desktop
Click Record Video Note: If you checked the Desktop option, you will be prompted to share Your Entire Screen or an Application Window.
Click Share after selecting your preferred options
Confirm the audio bar is moving Note: You can also change which camera and mic are being used.
Click Record in the center of the screen
Click Stop to finish the recording Note: You can review and/or download your video before submitting. If you would like to retry recording, click the Discard button.
Click one of the following once you are satisfied with your recording:
Save
Submit
Upload Video
Click Upload Video
Select your video from one of the following:
Your device
Google Drive
Dropbox
OneDrive
Click Begin Upload after selecting the video Note: You will be able to view the file name within the upload box when properly selected. You can also Pause or Cancel the process during upload. AThe maximum video file size is 20GB and the acceptable formats are: asf, avi, flv, m4v, mov, mp4, m4a, 3gp, 3g2, mj2, wmv, mpg, mpeg, wma, mod, mp3, mts, qt, f4v, m2v, wepm, ogv, mxf, vob. Bongo offers unlimited cloud storage.
Note:
Creating a recording with Microsoft Office PowerPoint in Bongo requires the use of additional browser plug-ins
After saving, your video will begin processing; this can take up to 30 minutes
The video will be listed in the Work In Progress section while processing
You can watch and re-record your video as many times as you like and even combine your videos
