Course Software

See the Course Software List for the College of Information Systems & Technology.

Download the Required Software for This Course

During this course, you use Microsoft® Access® software to complete weekly assignments. If needed, download Microsoft® Access®. (Microsoft® Access® is included in Office 365 ProPlus which is available to all University of Phoenix students at no cost for the length of their enrollment.)

Note: Microsoft® Access® is only available to users with Microsoft® Windows® operating systems. Mac users will need an alternative software program such as OpenOffice, or a virtualization software program such as Parallels Desktop® installed (Microsoft® Windows® operating system installed within or in conjunction with a MAC OS) to download Microsoft® Access®.

Please read before installing: It is required that you check to see if there are any other versions of Office installed on your system. If so, please uninstall and then restart your computer before downloading from the Student and Faculty Portal. If a working version of Office is already installed on your computer, it is not necessary to install the latest version provided by the University. Therefore, if you decide to remove a purchased version, please make sure you have an installable copy along with the product key for activation before removing what is already installed on your device. This is because once you graduate or take a break from classes, you will no longer have access to this version of Office. At that time, you may start a subscription with Microsoft, reinstall your older version, or purchase a new version of Office.

Check Your Work for Plagiarism - SafeAssign Instructions

Your assignment submissions will automatically be checked for plagiarism by SafeAssign, a feature in Blackboard. SafeAssign compares your submission to a database of student work and the internet and then generates an Originality Report that you and your instructor can review. Review the full SafeAssign instructions to learn more about this feature.
