Error After Enabling Macros for MyEducator Files on a Mac
Symptom:
When trying to open MyEducator files via a Mac and after enabling Macros I get the following error:
  • Some Assignment Features Are Still Not Accessible
Cause:
Mac OS prevents Macro functionality outside of the application.
Resolution:
To resolve the issue, enable permission outside of the application environment by following the steps below:
  1. Click the Assignments tab
  2. Click the Instructions sheet button
  3. When prompted select the related listed document or browser to the document
  4. Select the option to allow
  5.  When prompted, enter the Mac PC password
This will allow the macro to generate the related instruction sheet in the same folder were the MyEducator file is located.
Note: Some recent updates may even prevent access when clicking on the Instructions sheet (nothing happens). If nothing happens, then the instructions sheet may not have been generated. Have the caller click the icon to the right of the instructions sheet and that should trigger similar in step 5.
