Blackboard Unread Messages
Question:
How do I tell which messages are Unread within the Messages section of Blackboard and how are they marked as Read?
Answer:
New messages will show their user icon with a purple ring around it. To mark a message as Read you must select to the To: field under the OP's name to open the message.
Note: It may be necessary to leave the message window open until it marks as read which can take up to a minute or more to occur.
