MAED/ADM Internship Requirements

What are the requirements for MAEd/ADM Internship courses? 
Answer:
Below is a basic list of requirements for each internship course to use as talking points when advising your students.  All Master of Arts in Education Administration and Supervision (MAEd/ADM) students must receive a “B” or better grade in their internship courses for the program.
  • ADMIN/591A
    • Wet-signed site approval documents, which are collected by the Education Program Specialist (EPS)
    • Hold an initial meeting prior to Week 3 and have signed verification of initial meeting by Supervisor and Mentor on Internship Learning Plan (ILP)
  • ADMIN/591B
    • 120 internship hours completed
    • 2 internship projects completed
    • Hold a meeting prior to Week 3 to verify the above and have ILP and meeting logs signed by both Supervisor and Mentor
  • ADMIN/591C
    • All 240 (or more) internship hours completed
    • All 4 internship projects completed
    • Hold a meeting prior to Week 3 to verify the above and have ILP and meeting logs signed by both Supervisor and Mentor
      • Note: All Mentors must have:
  • Applicable state license for his/her current assignment
  • Possess a master’s degree
  • Have at least three years of administration and supervision experience
  • Be at a site that has a minimum of 150 students
