Below is a basic list of requirements for each internship course to use as talking points when advising your students. All Master of Arts in Education Administration and Supervision (MAEd/ADM) students must receive a “B” or better grade in their internship courses for the program.
- ADMIN/591A
- Wet-signed site approval documents, which are collected by the Education Program Specialist (EPS)
- Hold an initial meeting prior to Week 3 and have signed verification of initial meeting by Supervisor and Mentor on Internship Learning Plan (ILP)
- ADMIN/591B
- 120 internship hours completed
- 2 internship projects completed
- Hold a meeting prior to Week 3 to verify the above and have ILP and meeting logs signed by both Supervisor and Mentor
- ADMIN/591C
- All 240 (or more) internship hours completed
- All 4 internship projects completed
- Hold a meeting prior to Week 3 to verify the above and have ILP and meeting logs signed by both Supervisor and Mentor
- Note: All Mentors must have:
- Applicable state license for his/her current assignment
- Possess a master’s degree
- Have at least three years of administration and supervision experience
- Be at a site that has a minimum of 150 students
