MS Word Autocorrect Correcting to Spanish 
Symptom:
When I type a paper in Microsoft Word, my document autocorrects words to Spanish. 
Cause:
The proofing language in Word is set to Spanish. 
Resolution:
To change the language of a document in Microsoft Word, perform the following:
  1. In your document, click where you need to enter text in another language
  2. Click Review > Language > Set Proofing Language
Setting a new proofing language in Word 2013
  1. In the Language box, scroll to the language you want to use and look for the Check Spelling & Grammar icon The Check Spelling & Grammar icon in Word 2013 in front of the language. Note: if you don't see the icon, go to step 7.

Note: The icon lets you know you have proofing tools installed for that language.

  1. Scroll down the list and click the language you want to use
  2. Click OK to close the Language box
  3. Return to your document and start typing in that language

  1. If you don't see the icon, click the language anyway and click OK. Word gives you the chance to get the proofing tools you need
  2. Download the proofing tools you want, and repeat steps 3–6.
