Question:
How do I create a desktop icon for a program in Microsoft Windows 10?
Answer:
To create desktop icon, follow these steps:
  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Click on All Apps
  3. Find the program in the list of All Apps
  4. Click the icon and hold down the mouse button
  5. Drag the icon to the Desktop
  6. Release the mouse button
Additional Information:
Note: This will not work by using the Search window to find the program. You must find the program in the scrolling list of All Apps.
