How To Combine Two Presentations With Different Masters

Question:
How to combine two PowerPoint presentations into one presentation?
Answer:
To combine two separate PowerPoint presentations that are based on two different masters, perform the following:
  1. Start PowerPoint, and then open the first presentation. Make sure that you are in Normal view.
  2. Press CTRL+END to view the last slide, and then insert a blank slide.
  3. On the Insert menu, click Object, and then click Create from file.
  4. Click Browse, locate the second presentation, and then click the second presentation. Click OK two times.
  5. Drag the corners of the inserted presentation to expand the inserted presentation to fit the slide.
  6. On the Slide Show menu, click Custom Animation.
  7. Click the Multimedia Settings tab, and then click Object1.
  8. Under Object action, click Show.
  9. Click OK, and then start your presentation.
To copy slides from one to another using the copy and paste method, perform the following:
  1. Highlight the first slide in the slide thumbnail pane on the left-hand side

  1. ​To select multiple individual slides, hold down Ctrl and left-click each slide from the slide thumbnail pane

  1. To select all slides, hold down Ctrl and press A
  2. To copy the slides, hold down Ctrl and press C
  3. Left-click in the area to the left of the Powerpoint in the slide thumbnail pane where the slides are to be pasted to and hold down Ctrl and press V

  1. The slides will copy over and they can be arranged by left-clicking them and dragging them in the desired order

  1. To keep the slides in the formatting of the current Master presentation, Select the clipboard and choose Keep Source Formatting (K)
