Cannot Open, Save or Download Document From eCampus in Google Chrome
Symptom:
When attempting to open a Microsoft Office document directly from the Materials section of a Learning Activity or Assignment, the following error occurs:
Word was unable to read this document. It may be corrupt...
Cause:
This issue is specific to downloading word documents in Google Chrome, and may be caused by the following:
  • Corrupt browser cache and cookies
Resolution:
To resolve this issue, perform the following:
  • Clear browser cache and cookies
    • Note: Clearing phoenix.edu cookies by clicking Logout will probably not resolve this issue.
  • Try another browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari
  • Open file from the computer instead of the browser
