How do I transfer existing hours from the Field Experience Record in TaskStream to My Time Log?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to electronically transfer TaskStream's record hours into My Time Log, you will want to manually enter them into the new system.
To document completed hours, please perform the following:
- Acquire all necessary reviews & approvals for logged hours from TaskStream
- Analyze the record for accuracy and completeness
- Navigate to My Time Logs within the Student and Faculty Portal
- Create one (1) or more, but no more than four (4), time log submission for all pre-existing hours using the following form inputs:
- Activity: Hours logged before March 1, 2016 under the Transition category
- Date: January 1, 2016
- Start Time: 12:00am
- End Time: Select the end time necessary to log the correct number of hours, up to 24 hours per entry
Note: If more than 24 hours are necessary, repeat the steps above with incremental dates until all hours prior to March 1, 2016 are accounted for.
- Description: Hours Logged before March 1, 2016
- Reviewer Email: Provide the email of a designated staff member (e.g. Campus College Chair, Program Manager, or Education Program Specialist)
- Click Add Activity
- Select Yes to the confirmation message asking if you want to complete the rest of the entry
- Please enter the required fields as follows:
- School Name: UOPX
- City: Phoenix
- State: AZ
- School Enrollment: 0
- Type of School: Public School
- School Diversity: Not Applicable
- Grade Level: Choose appropriate
- Discipline: Choose appropriate
- Content Area: Write in appropriate
- Diversity in the Classroom: Other
- Respond with Not Applicable in the Reflection fields listed below:
- What did you do or observe?
- What went well?
- What could have been improved?
- What did you learn or gain from the experience?
- Considering the influence of school family and communicate on student learning, what have you gained from the experience that will help you grow and develop as a teacher?
- What instructional technology was available and how did it impact student learning?
- Attach the entire Field Experience Record document to each log entry created
- Click Update
Note: You will be redirected to the Submission and Summary page.
- Select the new submission(s)
- Click Submit for Approval
- Click Submit on the confirmation page
- Click OK to confirmation of successful submission
