DirectX Error Downloading VitalSource Bookshelf
Symptom:
When attempting to download the VitalSource Bookshelf, on Windows XP or Vista, the following error occurs:
Error: Setup has detected that your graphics hardware or driver do not support the necessary level of DirectX required for VitalSource Bookshelf. Please download and install version 6.2.2 instead.
Cause:
This issue is caused by a missing Windows Update for DirectX that is no longer available from Microsoft.
Resolution:
Older versions of Bookshelf are no longer available. The eBook will need to be read within eCampus or on another device.
