Cause:
classroom not loading, slow connection, cannot connect to websites
Resolution:
How to Interpret Trace route results
  1. Hop 1-3 Home Network
  2. Hop 4-6 ISP routers
  3. Hop 7-30 Firewall routers
  4. Trace route can do up to 30 hops or less depending on destination.
    • The numbers in the middle should with the words ms should not be over 100 if so have student/faculty contact their ISP. https://www.arin.net/ Use link to determine what IP address its stopping at timed out
Note: It is normal if the student/faculty can access the website but it still gets timed out this is due to a firewall blocking it
(Level 3 is a popular network security firewall)
