Changing ZIP File Associations from Microsoft Word to File Explorer

Question:
How do I change the file association for ZIP files from Microsoft Word to Microsoft Windows File Explorer so they open properly?
Answer:
To change the file associations, performing the following:
  1. Go to the folder that the ZIP file is in
  2. Right-click on the ZIP file
  3. Navigate down to Open with...
  4. Click Windows Explorer or File Explorer
  5. When the file opens, you can Extract All from the toolbar at the top
