1. Login to the eCampus website at http://ecampus.phoenix.edu
2. Click the avatar icon in the upper-left of the page
3. Click About Me to the left
4. Click Edit Profile and Privacy Settings
5. Type your desired name in the Display Name field
6. Click Save

Notes:

• Blackboard requires first name and last name in My Profile, therefore, if you do not enter a last name, Blackboard will display your official last name
• In instances where users do not wish to have their last name displayed in Blackboard, please enter your first name a space and a character
  For example, if John Snow does not want his last name displayed he will need to enter something like this in My Profile: John _ or John . or any combination of a space and a character.
• Updating the name in My Profile will only change the display name inside of the Blackboard course and will not be updated on the MyPhoenix page
