Accessing Ease of Access Programs on Microsoft Windows 8

Question:
What Accessibility Tools are available in Windows 8, and how do I locate them?
Answer:
The Windows 8 Accessibility Tools include:
  • Magnifier
  • Narrator
  • On-Screen Keyboard
  • Windows Speech Recognition

To locate the Accessibility Tools perform the following:

Using Touchscreen:
  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen
  2. Tap Search
  3. Enter the desired program in the search box and tap the desired program from the Apps list under Windows Ease of Access

Using Mouse:
  1. Point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down
  2. Click Search
  3. Enter the desired program in the search box and click the desired program from the Apps list under Windows Ease of Access
