Symptom:
When I attempt to access the ProQuest database, the following error occurs:
Connection refused by search.proquest.com, please try again later.
Cause:
This issue may be caused by one or more of the following:
  • Issues with ProQuest site
  • Maintenance
  • Corrupt Internet browser cache and cookies
Resolution:
To resolve this issue, perform one or more of the following:
  • Clear Internet browser cache and cookies
  • Use an alternate Internet browser
  • Try to access later
  • Use an alternate library database
