Adding Pop-up Blocker Exceptions

Question:
How do I prevent my browser from blocking pop-ups only on specific sites?
Answer:
If you do not want to completely disable the pop-up blocker for all sites, please perform the following to add an exception:
 Note: adding the asterisk & period (*. ) in front of the domain name is a wildcard that tells your browser not to block any pop-up from any site within that domain. Example: adding *.phoenix.edu will include portal.phoenix.edu, ecampus.phoenix.edu, classroom.phoenix.edu, vle.phoenix.edu, etc.  
Windows Internet Explorer 
  1. Click Tools menu (or "gear" icon) then Internet Options 
  2. Click Privacy tab at top
  3. Click Settings button under the Pop-up Blocker section. Note: if this is grayed out, the pop-up blocker is disabled
    1. Under Address of websites to allow: type the domain you want to exclude: Examples: *.phoenix.edu, *.apollogrp.edu, *.toolwire.com 
    2. Click Add after typing each domain in the box
    3. Verify each site shows in the list of websites below
    4. Click OK
  4. Click OK on the Internet Options window
  5. Close Internet Explorer & reopen
  6. Try opening site/link/etc. again
Windows Mozilla Firefox  
  1. Click Tools menu (or Firefox tab) then Options 
  2. Click Content tab at top
  3. Click Exceptions... button next to Block pop-up windows 
    1. Under Address of website: type the domain you want to exclude: Examples *.phoenix.edu, *.apollogrp.edu, *.toolwire.com 
    2. Click Allow after typing each domain in the box
    3. Verify each site shows in the list of websites
    4. Click Close
  4. Click OKon the Options window
  5. Close Firefox and reopen
  6. Try opening site/link/etc. again
Windows Google Chrome  
  1. Click on the Customize button in the upper right hand corner 
  2. Click Settings 
  3. Click Show Advanced Settings link at bottom
  4. Click Content Settings (under Privacy)
    1. Click Manage Exceptions under Pop-ups
    2. Click in the Add a new hostname pattern field
    3. Type the address you want to exclude: Examples: *.phoenix.edu, *.apollogrp.edu, *.toolwire.com 
    4. Press the Enter key after entering each domain
    5. Click OK when done
  5. Click OK on the Content settings window
  6. Close Google Chrome & reopen
  7. Try opening site/link/etc. again
