Editing PDF Files with Adobe Reader

Question:
Can I edit PDF files in Adobe Reader?
Answer:
The Adobe Reader program only allows PDF documents to be opened, viewed, and printed. Additionally, Adobe Reader can select, copy, and paste text from PDF files, provided that the files do not contain security levels which prohibit the copying and pasting of the file's content.

Tasks such as editing or adding bookmarks, links, and headers or footers require the use of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Professional. For additional information, please visit http://www.adobe.com/.
