Question:
How do I connect to a wireless network in Windows 8?
Answer:
To connect to a wireless network using Windows 8, from the desktop view, perform the following:
  1. Click the wireless icon in the system tray
  2. Select the appropriate wireless network
  3. Click Connect
  4. Enter username and password if required
Note: Windows 8 also has a feature called Airplane mode. It may be necessary to turn this off before connecting to the network.
