Symptom:
When I try to use my mouse the pointer movement is erratic on the screen.
Cause:
Issues with your mouse can can be caused by corrupt drivers, loose connection, low battery, or dirty sensors.
Resolution:
To resolve this issue, perform one or more of the following:
  • Verify the connections are secure
  • Verify the sensors are clean on the bottom of the mouse
  • If the mouse is wireless, replace the battery
  • Restart computer
  • Reinstall the mouse driver software
