Clearing App Cache and Data on Android Device

Question:
How do I clear my app cache or data on my Android device?
Answer:
To clear app cache and data, perform the following:
 
Method 1
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap Applications
  3. Tap Manage Applications
  4. Tap on the desired app
  5. Tap Clear Cache (wipes out temporary files that might be causing problems)
  6. Tap Clear Data (Gives a clean installation of the app)
Nougate
  1. Click on Apps button on the home screen
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Storage
  4. Click Internal Shared Storage
  5. Click Cached Data
  6. Click OK to Cleared Cached Data

Note: the option to remove all cached data has been removed. The option to remove cached data from specific apps is still available.
  1. Click Settings
  2. Click Apps and Notifications
  3. Click App Info
  4. Tap the desired app
  5. Tap on Storage
  6. Click Clear Cache
