Clearing Phoenix.edu Cookies

Question:
How do I clear phoenix.edu cookies stored by my browser?
Answer:
To clear phoenix.edu cookies, please perform the following:
Log Out of Student and Faculty Portal
  1. Click Logout located at top of page
  2. Restart the browser
Note: This will only clear cookies with the phoenix.edu domain. The University Library is hosted on the apollolibrary.com domain so it and other external resources will not be affected by this.

When do I perform a full browser cookies and cache clear?

If the URL that is having problems does not contain phoenix.edu, a full browser cookies and cache should be performed. Additionally, if the issue is with a file that is being opened through the browser, i.e..pdf, .docx, .xlsx, assignment file, it is appropriate to clear browser cache.

Before performing a full browser cookies and cache clear ensure that only cookies and cache are selected and the following disclaimer must be stated:
This process will clear cookies and cache from all previous websites that you have visited including websites not affiliated with University of Phoenix.
Some example URLs include:
  • Apollolibrary.com
  • Wileyplus.com
  • Anything that does not include phoenix.edu in the URL
