Disabling Track Changes in Microsoft Office Word

How can I disable the Track Changes feature in Microsoft Office Word?
Answer:
To disable the Track Changes feature in Microsoft Word, perform the following steps: Notes:
  • In Word Starter 2010 if you open a document that was changed while the Track Changes feature was turned on, you will see editing marks in the document. You cannot accept or reject the changes, and you cannot turn change tracking on or off in Word Starter.
  • After disabling Track Changes, if comments are needing to be removed preform one or more of the following:
    • Choose either Accept or Reject all under the changes ribbon
    • Delete any of the unwanted comments
