Citing a Graph, Chart, Table, or Image

Question:
How do I cite a graph, chart, table, or image?
Answer:
According to APA, supplemental material, such as a graph, chart, table, or image, follows regular APA requirements depending on the source where it was retrieved. When citing a graph, chart, table or image, always provide the author, year, and specific page number in the text and include a complete reference in the reference list. Be sure to label your graph, table, chart, or image numerically.
