APA Style Table of Contents

Question:
How do I create an APA Style table of contents?
Answer:
Neither the APA Publication Manual nor The Gregg Reference Manual provide samples or guidelines for creating a table of contents. Remember, the instructor has the final word in the classroom. If there are any questions, contact the instructor prior to creating the table of contents.

If the instructor has not provided guidelines for formatting the table of contents, write a simple table of contents. Be sure to use the title Table of Contents and do not use quotation marks or underline the title.
