Cannot Register as New User on Student and Faculty Portal
Symptom:
When I try to register as a new user on the Student and Faculty website, the following error occurs:
We were unable to verify you as a student/instructor/faculty. If this message is in error, please contact the University of Phoenix at: Student Technical Support: (877) 832-4867 Faculty Technical Support: (800) 800-3493.
Cause:
The error can be caused by the following reason(s):
  • A login already exists in the system for the Individual Record Number (IRN) or Social Security Number (SSN) being used
  • Attempting to register on the Student and Faculty Portal if an application has not yet been completed
  • Using a username that has already been taken
  • Date of birth issue
Resolution:
To resolve this issue, perform one of the following: To resolve this issue, perform one of the following:
  • Log into the Student and Faculty website using the existing username and password
