HTTP 440 Server Application Error
Symptom:
When attempting to access the Student and Faculty Portal in Mozilla Firefox, the following error occurs:
HTTP 440 Server Application Error
Cause:
The error is caused by a communication problem between the computer and the University's servers. This can be caused by an issue with the Internet Service Provider (ISP), a network problem or something within the computer.
Resolution:
Begin by restarting the computer. Power cycle the modem and/or router, making sure the modem is completely up and running before turning the router back on. Also, try accessing a few other websites such as your bank's website or other secure websites. If there are issues with any of these websites, please contact your ISP for further assistance.
