Installing Adobe Reader on an Apple Macintosh

Question:
How do I install Adobe Reader on an Apple Macintosh?
Answer:
To install the newest version of Adobe Reader for Mac, perform the following:
  1. Go to Adobe's website at http://www.adobe.com
  2. Click PDF & E-Signatures at the top
  3. Choose Reader DC
  4. Click Download now
  5. Uncheck the Optional Offer (if available)
  6. Click Install now

  8. Double-click AdbeRdrXXXX_en_US.dmg

  9. Double-click Adobe Reader Installer.pkg
    User-added image
  10. When asked if you are sure you want to open the file, click Open

  11. When prompted, enter your name and password

  12. Once the installation is completed, click Finish

  13. Once installed open Adobe Reader from the Applications Folder and accept the license agreement. If asked, select to use as default pdf reader.
