How do I access Lexis Nexis Uni? 

To access Nexis Uni, please perform the following steps:

1. Access your course in eCampus
2. Locate the Nexis Uni learning activity for the current week
3. Open the Nexis Uni learning activity.
4. Click Lexis Uni hyperlink in the instructions

Note:  A new window will open that directs you to the Nexis Uni Home page. You may be able to search and access most content without registering but if needed perform the following

5. Click Sign In | Register

 

6. Click Create a profile now

 

7. Fill out the form using school email in the following format: [userID]@email.phoenix.edu  
8. Follow the prompts to fill out your profile information
9. Click Submit

 

10. Follow the prompts to Submit and Go to the Next Step
    to build Personal Profile

Note: if you receive an Unexpected Error message, continue through registration since we have seen cases that registration still processes after bypassing error

Navigating in Nexis Uni

After accessing Nexis Uni, you will be presented with the Home page which provides the search feature. Within the search, you can define the keyword(s), type of result you are interested in, date range, and select categories. 

Nexis Uni will return results based on relevance by default. You may use the Sort by feature in the top-right to change the sort settings. The left-side of the search results will break down the categories by number of results. You may select the category to view results pertaining to it specifically. Additional options are provided for further narrowing your results such as location, industry, timeline, sources, and people. 

Once you have found a source to review, select the title to view the full details.
